About Rock Orbit

Rock Orbit is a space shooter in the spirit of the arcade classics. Your little ship drifts with real momentum through a field of tumbling rocks, and the edges of the screen wrap around, so a rock that leaves on one side comes back on the other.

Every rock you hit splits into smaller, faster pieces until only dust is left. Clear the field to start the next wave, with more rocks moving faster each time. You have three ships, and each new ship gets a moment of shielding when it appears.

How to play

Split every rock to clear each wave. Big rocks are worth 20, medium 50 and small 100 points. Don't let a rock hit your ship.

Keyboard and mouse

← → or A D
Turn the ship.
↑ or W
Thrust forward.
Space (hold)
Fire.
P or Esc
Pause and resume.

Touch

Drag on the left half
Point the ship and thrust; drag further for more thrust.
Hold FIRE on the right
Fire.
Pause button
Pause and resume.
